I had some leftover waxed cotton fabric from making a workshop apron, and decided I wanted to take on a more challenging sewing project. After stumbling on an article about the beauty of Japanese sewing pattern books, I decided to go with this design. Translating the pattern turned out to be almost as difficult as the sewing.
