A friend had a painful medical condition that required almost constant wear of a neck brace. They hated the look of options available commercially and wanted something more decorative for work and social outings. After working with them to fine tune the fit and feel, I cut and hand-tooled the leather with an acorn pattern and dyed it black. For context, the broader, tooled side of the piece sits at the back of the neck up to the hairline.
